Painted Parking Spot Agreement
Design Approval is Required: You must submit your design to BHS.parkingspots@gmail.com and get it approved before you paint. If you paint without approval, you will be asked to repaint the entire spot.
By checking this box or signing below, you agree to the following terms:
Rule Violations
-
1st Violation: Friendly warning
-
2nd Violation: $50 fine
-
3rd Violation: Loss of parking spot (no refund), and the space will be repainted black
If I break any rules, I understand I will forfeit all painting privileges and paid fees. No refunds will be given.
Painting Regulations
By checking this box, I agree:
-
I will maintain a 4-inch border on all sides of my spot and around the number. If an old design shows, I may cover it with black paint.
-
I will not paint on or near the number in my space. If the district must repaint it, I will be fined.
-
If painting over multiple days, I will take all supplies home daily. I may leave a cone or similar object to block off my spot — but no paint cans or tools may be left unattended.
-
I understand that painting must be finished and cleaned up by 10:00 PM on Sunday, August 3. Any leftover items will result in a $50 clean-up fee.
If you have any questions, as always, email us bhs.parkingspots@gmail.com
Agreement of Parking Permit Purchase
By checking this box, I acknowledge that I must also purchase a Boerne High School parking permit sticker in order to park on campus.
-
The permit is $50, and this is separate from the painted parking spot fee.
-
Permits will be available for purchase in August during schedule pickup.
-
Painted parking spots are only reserved during school hours on school days.
Failure to purchase a permit may result in loss of parking privileges, even if a painted spot has been reserved.
$50 Clean Up Fee Agreement
By checking this box, I agree that all paint cans, tools, and painting-related materials will be removed from the BHS parking lot no later than 10:00 PM on Sunday, August 3rd.
I understand that failure to remove any items will result in a $50 clean-up fee, no exceptions.
Approved Paint Supplies
By checking this box, I agree to use only the following approved supplies when painting my parking spot:
-
Cones, gallon water jugs, or similar items to block off my space (Paint cans are not allowed for this purpose)
-
Exterior latex paint only - no spray paint allowed
-
Paint rollers, extension handles, brushes, sponges, and paint trays
-
Painter’s tape, chalk, and design template
-
Broom or blower to clean the space before painting
-
Measuring tape to ensure a proper border
I understand that using unapproved materials may result in a violation and possible loss of painting privileges.
Acknowledgement of Class Timeframe
By checking this box, I acknowledge that I am purchasing a painted parking spot during the correct time window for my class.
If I am a junior attempting to purchase during the senior priority window:
-
My order will be cancelled without notice
-
I will lose the selected spot
-
I will need to wait until May 19 to try again during the junior access window
I understand that no exceptions will be made, and this policy is in place to ensure fairness by class level.
Release of Unforeseen Construction
By checking this you agree neither Boerne High School nor PTO are responsible for any inconveniences caused by ongoing construction (ie blocked spot, damage to art work, etc). While we do not foresee this to be a problem, we would like you to be aware before purchasing a spot.
